Miss Ely, 71, of Toms River, died Jan. 26, 2011, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was a former member of the Adelphia Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. A brother, Bruce Ely, predeceased her. Surviving are a sister, Barbara E. Story, of Freehold Township; a brother, Ronald Ely, and his wife, Dorothy, of Jackson; a dear friend, Patricia Fielder and her extended family, of Toms River; and many nieces and nephews.
