Mr. Ross, 91, of Keyport, died Jan. 26, 2011, in Keyport. He had been a resident of Middletown from1964 until he moved to Keyport in 1999. Mr. Ross worked as a senior examiner for the New York State Insurance Department at the World Trade Center in NewYork City for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. After his retirement, he volunteered at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Mr. Ross was a member of Middletown Elks Lodge 2179, Belford, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2179, Port Monmouth. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen, in 1998; and two brothers, Charles and Dave. Surviving are a daughter, Arleen Siciliano of Tinton Falls; a sister, Jessie Brennen of Amityville, N.Y.; four nephews and two nieces; and friend Carolyn Cole of Keyport. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary’s Chapel, Middletown. Burial followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
