Mrs. Diaferia, 92, of Freehold, died Jan. 18, 2011, at home. She was born in Barrow-in- Furness, England. Mrs. Diaferia was a homemaker. She was predeceased by a daughter, Leslie Peschlow; and a sister, Helen Wikel. She is survived by her husband, Lewis J. Diaferia; a daughter, Beth DeSandolo of Howell; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. All arrangements were private and under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
