Renee Kristen Pieroth of Hillsborough graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut College of Agriculture and Natural Resources with a bachelor of science in allied health on May 8.
She was one of 15 graduates to complete the coordinated dietetics program and is a registered dietitian. She was a member of Alpha Zeta, Golden Key International Honour Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Alpha Lambda Delta. She was selected as a 2009 New England Scholar.
She made the Dean’s list all eight semesters and studied abroad in Italy. She was a 2006 graduate from Hillsborough High School.
Lauren Roman of Hillsborough has made the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. The elementary education major daughter earned a grade-point average of 3.740.
Keith Landon and An Nguyen, both of Hillsborough, earned the dean’s list for the fall quarter at Berkeley College. They are students at the Middlesex campus in Woodbridge.
Students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.50 or better with a minimum of 12 academic credits qualify for the dean’s list.
Hillsborough’s Justin Tien, son of Steve Tien and Chiahua Tien, was named to the Honor List of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University in Oxford, Ga., for the 2010 fall semester.
Students must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
Steven Feldman, son of Rich and Joanne Feldman of Hillsborough, earned dean’s list standing for the 2010-11 fall semester at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pa. He is a junior.
Students must carry three or more course units and attain an average for the term of 3.50 or higher.
Hillsborough students Bradley Alder and Amanda B. Kohn are on the Dean’s List for academic achievement for the fall semester from Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton (N.Y.) University. They earned the requisite minimum grade-point average of 3.5.
Lacey Nemergut of Hillsborough, a sophomore and business major, was named to the President’s List at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass., for academic achievement in the fall semester.
To be named, a full-time student must have a grade-point average of 3.7 or higher with no course grade below 3.0 during the term.
Andrew Quinten Robinson, a senior political science major at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester. A graduate of Hillsborough High School, he is the son of David and Keating Robinson.
All students must have a grade point average of 3.7 or above on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
