HOWELL — Ford Road is closed to through traffic and will remain that way for the next several weeks.
According to the Howell Engineering Department, Ford Road will not be passable to through traffic for four to six weeks, weather permitting, while a large septic tank is installed. The closure took effect on March 16.
Ford Road will be closed about 1,000 feet from Route 9 and will be closed on both sides. In order to access Ford Road, drivers need to come through from Kent Road or Church Street.
