Mrs. Hammerstone, 84, of Howell, died March 7, 2011, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson. She was a lifelong resident of Howell and a homemaker. Mrs. Hammerstone was predeceased by her husband, Walter; and a sister, Mary. She is survived by a daughter and son-inlaw, Bonnie and Richard Mumpower of Howell; a brother, Raymond Green, and his wife, Mary, of Howell; and two granddaughters, Patricia Lewis, and her husband, Craig, of Howell, and Lauren Mazzeo, and her husband, Joseph, of Cliffwood. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in Adelphia Cemetery, Howell.
