FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP— Municipal officials will conduct an online public auction of motor vehicles, tractors, skid steer, backhoe loader, office equipment, furniture, unclaimed evidence, jewelry and miscellaneous items that have been declared surplus and are no longer required for use by the municipality.
The online auction will be conducted via the Municibid Internet website (www.municibid.com) under the name freeholdnj for 14 days beginning April 23 and ending May 7. Electronic bidding only will be permitted.
Vehicles may be inspected Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Freehold Township Department of Public Works, 66 Jackson Mills Road, Freehold Township.
Winning bidders will be notified immediately upon the completion of the auction and all items purchased must be paid by certified check or cash no later than five days after the sale at the office of the municipal clerk, 1 Municipal Plaza, Freehold Township, weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
After payment is received and title issued to the buyer, the buyer must present title to pick up vehicle at the DPW between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, no later than 10 days after the sale.
