The Plumsted Township Memorial Day Parade will be held on Memorial Day, May 30. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. on North Main Street at Bright Road and will continue along Main Street and Jacobstown Road to Meadowbrook Lane. The American Legion headquarters will be the end point of the holiday march. Parade officials encourage participants to arrive at Bright Road, from Evergreen Road, by noon for the parade. Bright Road will be closed to non-parade vehicles between noon and 1 p.m. North Main Street, Main Street and Jacobstown Road will be closed between 1 and 2 p.m. When the parade concludes, the American Legion, in conjunction with other organizations, will host Memorial Day services.
