Attention, Elvis fans. It is time once again for the Friends of Elvis Fan Club Convention and summer festival, to be held July 16. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. The first show will begin at 4 p.m. and the show is expected to end at about 10 p.m.
The festival will be held at the South Toms River recreation building, 1 Drake Lane, South Toms River. Entertainment will be provided by the following Elvis tribute artists: DJ Johnny Purshock, Elvis Tributes by Gene DiNapoli, Rob Lutz, Chris Presley, Dan Barella, Ray Kaminski, Andrew J. Howard and Jerry EL.
There will be Elvis vendors present with new and vintage music memorabilia. Tickets will be sold at the door for $15. Proceeds will benefit recreation programs at the center. Free parking, light refreshments and beverages will be available. Call 1-732-818- 3330 for information.
