Mrs. Sorochka, 82, of Freehold Township, formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., died May 24, 2011, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Sorochka Jr., in 2001. Surviving are a son, Nicholas Michael Sorochka, and his wife Sue, of Jackson; two daughters, Deborah Ann Miller and her husband, Gregory, of Corsicana, Texas, and Jean Ann Sorochka of Howell; and four granddaughters. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, Jackson, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s R.O. Church, Jackson, NJ 08527.
