Mrs. Blanchard, 91, of Freehold Township, died June 5, 2011, at Montgomery Care Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Newark and had resided in Keansburg before moving to Freehold Township. Mrs. Blanchard was predeceased by a brother, Robert G. Braker Jr.; and two husbands, Howard Van Ness and Fred L. Blanchard. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Ivis Braker; two nieces, Debbie Tellier of Jackson, and Sandy Hans of Brick; a nephew, Robert G. Braker III of Jackson; and seven great-nieces and greatnephews. Graveside services were held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Arrangements were by the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
