The Historical Society of Ocean Grove will sponsor the following programs for July at Centennial Cottage, Central Avenue and McClintock Street, Ocean Grove:
“Decoupage Vase and Tissue Paper Flowers,” 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 22. Participants are asked to bring a glass vase or glass container which is cleaned and has the labels removed. All other materials will be supplied. Open to age12 and older;
“Introduction to Digital Photography,” 4-6:30 p.m. July 28, with instructor Margaret Cotton. Bring a camera and its manual, if available.
“Macramé Bracelets, Key Rings, Necklaces” 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 29. Participants will make several knotted jewelry pieces, such as a bracelet, ankle bracelet, necklace or key ring. The class is open to age 12 and older. Participants may bring favorite beads or shells with holes in them to incorporate into their creations.
The fee for each class is $15 plus a $5 kit fee for additional materials. In the event of rain, classes will be held at the museum, 50 Pitman Ave., Ocean Grove.
