Mr. O’Mara, 82, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 7, 2011, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Prior to retiring, he was the owner of Graphic Securities. Mr. O’Mara was a veteran of World War II. He was predeceased by a brother, Jerry O’Mara. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Lucille; three sons, Michael O’Mara of Milford, Conn., John O’Mara of Newport News, Va., and David O’Mara and his wife, Kathleen, of Old Bridge; six daughters, Jeanne Kominsky of Freehold, Theresa McGhee and her husband, George, of Jackson, Kerry Weldon and her husband,
Jimi, of Freehold, Kathy Lagno and her husband, Fran, of Salt Point, N.Y., Lory Rasiewicz and her husband, Ed, of Lakewood, and Erin Brown of Freehold; 17 grandchildren; and a sister, Midge Murphy of Ontario, Canada. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.
