Woman faces Jackson motor vehicle charges

JACKSON— Police charged a Waretown resident with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license on Sept. 25.

According to information provided by Jackson police, officers Jeffrey Henba and Mitchell Kafton arrived at a location on Cedar Swamp Road at 1:14 a.m. after receiving a call to check on the well-being of Donna Heath, 38, of Waretown.

According to police, the officers found Heath asleep in the driver’s seat of her sport utility vehicle. The vehicle’s engine was running. Following a series of field sobriety tests, Henba arrested Heath and lodged the motor vehicle charges against her. Heath was processed and released to a relative. A court date is pending.
