Mr. Hine, 61, of Jackson, formerly of Howell and Freehold, died Sept. 22, 2011, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was a field operations supervisor for Acme Markets for over 40 years. Mr. Hine was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served from 1968 to 1970. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Cathy H. Hine; a daughter, Brandi Cole, and her husband, John, of Jackson; a son, Douglas C. Hine of Weehawken; two granddaughters; his father, William Hine of Freehold; two brothers, William Hine, and his wife, Nina, of Brick, and David Hine, and his wife, Carol, of West Long Branch; and four sisters, Kathy Forlenza and her husband, Gary, of Georgia, Debra Marshall and her husband, David, of Jackson, Nancy Bailey and her husband, Matthew, of Jackson, and Sharon O’Neill, and her husband, Michael, of Jackson. Afuneral Mass was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by private interment.
