Mr. Baumgartner, 60, of Cream Ridge, with family in Plumsted, died Sept. 10, 2011, at Capital Health System, Trenton. At age 20 he enlisted in the U.S. Army, served in Vietnam and was awardedtheBronzeStarwithaVdeviceandthe Purple Heart. He retired from BASF, where he worked for 30 years, and more recently was employed with the Logistics Company at Fort Dix. Mr. Baumgartner is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karen Baumgartner; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Kimberly and Matthew Davidson, Samantha Baumgartner, Holly Baumgartner, and Megan and Alfred Brenner; and special cousins Stephen and Lois Tonnison.
