Four facing drug charges in Jackson

JACKSON — Four people were arrested and charged with drug-related offenses on Oct. 6 after police identified their black Chevrolet Cobalt as a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Berkeley Township.

According to information provided by the Jackson Police Department, officers Theodore Kucowski and William Campbell came across the vehicle and its four occupants in the Brook Plaza on South New Prospect Road after receiving reports of suspicious activity involving the vehicle and/or its occupants.

Police said the vehicle matched the description of a car that had been reported stolen in Berkeley Township.

A subsequent check of the registration confirmed it was the vehicle that was reported stolen in Berkeley Township.

All four occupants of the vehicle were arrested following an investigation that police said yielded a small amount of a controlled dangerous substance believed to be heroin, as well as hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia.

Police said Bartley was wanted in Bayville (a section of Berkeley Township) for motor vehicle theft and he had an outstanding warrant in Island Heights.

Daniel Bradley, 30, of Toms River, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bradley and Bartley were placed in the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, with bail set at $10,000 for each man.

Heather Ercolano, 40, of Toms River, and Jennifer Braccini, 24, of Ocean Gate, were each charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were processed and released, according to police.
