Mr. DeFranco, 93, of Jackson, died Oct. 6, 2011, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson. He worked as an automobile salesman for Ford Motors and Lincoln-Mercury. Prior to that, he was involved with his family in the dress manufacturing business. Mr. DeFranco was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was predeceased by a daughter, Laura DeFranco, in 2003. Surviving are his wife, Josephine DeFranco; a son, Joseph P. DeFranco and his wife, Rose Marie; and two grandsons. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by entombment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
