Re-elect Greenstein, DeAngelo and Benson

Yu Zhong, Plainsboro
As election day draws close, I’d like to remind voters in the 14th District to re-elect Sen. Linda Greenstein, Assemblymen Wayne DeAngelo and Daniel Benson.
These three officials have a proven track record. We need them to fight for us and our community in the state capital. The following is the partial list of what they have done so far:
   • Restore balance to our economy. They know we shouldn’t balance our budget on the backs of New Jersey’s working middle class families. That’s why they stood with working families and voted to require New Jersey’s wealthiest people to share in the sacrifice of fixing our economy. (S-2937; A-4202; A-4204)
   • Supporting public education. They opposed Governor Christie’s harmful cuts to public education. Greenstein voted to override Governor Christie’s dangerous cuts to higher education, including $5.3 million in college aid to students. (S-3000; SCR-211; SCR-212; SCR-213, legislators’ statement)
   • Investing in infrastructure. They have a record of voting for investments and sponsoring legislation that would have put people back to work, improve our state’s infrastructure, modernize our transportation system, and develop green energy technologies. (A-2873; A-2215)
   • Come to residents. They created “Mobile District Office” to give residents more convenient access. In those occasions, they met with many local residents, listened to their concerns, and helped them solve problems.
For a better future for our community, for a better future for our state employment environment, please vote: Linda Greenstein for Senate and Wayne DeAngelo and Daniel Benson for Assembly on Nov. 8.
