Job fair paves the way for troops to be welcomed home

Discover how military experience can translate into a steady career at the Hire a Veteran Job Fair Nov. 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Merri-Makers Caterers at the PNC Bank Reception Center, Holmdel. Veterans will have the opportunity to connect with employers who value their service, skills, work ethic and dedication to the nation.

Bob Deissig, co-founder of the Tip of the Arrow Foundation, will conduct a onehour workshop, “Tip of theArrow, Lessons in Landing the Job You Want” at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to talk about the do’s and don’ts of job searches, résumés and the interview process.

The Tip of the Arrow Foundation is a volunteer organization staffed by experienced career counselors who target U.S. veterans of the global war on terror.

Lunch and refreshments will be available for purchase.
