Mr. Mottola, 74, of Jackson, formerly of Freehold, died Nov. 26, 2011, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Prior to retiring, he worked as a security guard at the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City. Surviving are his wife, Lisa; a niece, Debra Garofano of Jackson; a nephew, Anthony Mottola of Romeoville, Ill.; as well as other nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Arrangements were by the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
