Mrs. Murphy, 101, of Howell, died Nov. 20, 2011, at Bartley Health Care, Jackson. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Murphy was predeceased by two sons, John Murphy Sr. in 2010 and Arthur L. Murphy Jr. in 2007; and a grandson, Todd Murphy. Surviving are a son, William Larry Murphy of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
