Michael S. Giordano

Mr. Giordano, 50, of the Fords section of Woodbridge, died suddenly Nov. 13, 2011, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Summit, he had lived most of his life in Fords and was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Fords. Mr. Giordano worked as a pit boss and dealer at Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pa., as well as at the Caesars and Sands casinos inAtlantic City. He volunteered as a counselor for the Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) in Ocean County and enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. He was predeceased by a nephew, Ralph, in 2001. Surviving are his mother, MaryAnn Giordano of Fords; his father and stepmother, Ralph and Nancy Giordano of Jackson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph Jr. and Nancy Giordano of Pennsylvania, and Keith and Kristen Giordano of Pennsylvania; two nieces; four nephews; a great-nephew; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Fords, followed by a funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment took place at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge.
