Mr. Romano, 76, of Howell, died Nov. 27, 2011, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Prior to retiring in 1992, Mr. Romano was employed as a facilities manager for the Mobil Oil Corp., Pennington, for 31 years. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Marilyn; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Danielle Monsen Romano of Jackson; two grandchildren; and many other family members. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by entombment. Arrangements were by the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
