Frank “Poppy” Naso

Mr. Naso, 86, of the Tennent section of Manalapan, formerly of Freehold Township, died Dec. 15, 2011, at home. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the European Theater during WorldWar II. Prior to retiring, he was employed as an ambulance driver for the City of New York, Department of Hospitals, for more than 30 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Priscilla A. Naso; six brothers; and three sisters. Surviving are a son, Frank Naso, and his wife, Vivian, of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Donna Miller, and her husband, Robert, of Freehold Township; four grandchildren; a brother, James Naso, of South Carolina; and a sister, Marie Pacinda, of Howell. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.
