EAST WINDSOR — Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse is scheduled to reopen in the township this spring.
Township Mayor Janice Mironov recently made the announcement.
”We are excited to have Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse reopen at this prominent location in our community. Charlie Brown’s has been a popular stop for area residents looking for a good place to dine for lunch or dinner. And the restaurant opening will create a series of new local job opportunities,” Mayor Mironov said.
Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse will reopen in the East Windsor Village Shopping Center, located on Princeton-Hightstown Road west of Lanning Boulevard.
Charlie Brown’s representatives stated to East Windsor that the restaurant intends to employ approximately 40 to 60 people for a wide variety of positions.
Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse is renovating the interior of the existing building to include additional booths, fresh paint, new carpeting and a new wood floor in the bar area, a township press release stated. The exterior of the building will be freshly painted with new canopies. The restaurant had been closed as part of a company bankruptcy filing.
