HERALD HIGHLIGHTS: Week of Jan. 27

Modern Cinderella show
   The Dance Expo and Dance Network, of the East Windsor and Lawrenceville communities, will present “The Best of Both Worlds” at 6 p.m. on Jan. 28. The show, lead by a cast between the ages of 4 to young teen, will take place at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 251 Franklin St., Hightstown.
   General admission tickets are available at the door, $ 14 per adult; $ 11 per child.
   The cast includes residents of East Windsor, Hightstown, West Windsor, Cranbury, Plainsboro and Lawrenceville.
Men’s softball signup locations
   The Twin Rivers-East Windsor Men’s Softball League will hold sign ups on Saturday mornings February 18 and February 25 at the Twin Rivers Library, 276 Abbington Dr., in East Windsor.
   All games will take place Sunday mornings from May through September.
   The League, which has been in existence for more than 20 years, is open to those 25 or older who reside in East Windsor, West Windsor and Cranbury.

Tribute for DeGennaro
   A memorial tribute for guitarist Danny DeGennaro, who was murdered in Pennsylvania in December, will take place at Amarone’s Windsor Inn, 29 Church St. in Windsor of Robbinsville Township on Jan. 30.
   The event, “A Song for Danny,” is from 7 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. The Monday Night Band, featuring Steve Mosley, Bruce Foster, Jeff Guenther and Herald photographer Phil McAuliffe, will perform. The night will also include performances by many musicians who were friends of Danny.
   Donations for his family can also be made that night.
