Mrs. Irons, 78, of Lakewood, formerly of Howell, died Jan. 24, 2012, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Prior to retiring in 1995, she was the supervisor of housekeeping for Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, for more than 30 years. Mrs. Irons was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Irons Jr.; and three brothers, Robert, Norman and Wesley Lane. Surviving are two sons, Gary E. Irons and his wife, Carol, of Jackson, and Dennis Irons and his wife, Kay, of Cape Coral, Fla.; two daughters, Vivian Vega of Lakewood and Deborah Ullmer and her husband, Alan, of Jackson; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-greatgranddaughter; three brothers, William Lane of Lakehurst, Lat Lane of Toms River, and John Lane of Howell; and a sister, Pat Gordon of Jackson. Afuneral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in the Adelphia Cemetery, Howell.
