Mr. Marriner, 81, of Jackson, died March 14, 2012, at home. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Prior to retiring, Mr. Marriner was employed as a groundskeeper at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. Surviving are his wife, Rose Soden Marriner; four sons, Vincent, Mark, Earl and Chuck; a daughter, Rachel Bednarski; two sisters, Jackie Jones and Gloria Hale; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. Interment was at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover, Burlington County. Memorial donations may be made to the Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
