The 29th annual Ralph Lamo Memorial Daisy Breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon April 22 at the Brunswick Hilton Hotel on Route 18 in East Brunswick. All are invited to attend the breakfast buffet, which will include eggs, bacon, home fries, pancakes, doughnuts, rolls, juice, coffee, tea and milk at a cost of $10 for adults and $2 for children under age 10. There will also be an expanded tricky tray with a variety of prizes as well as 50/50 fundraisers. A DJ will provide music, games and children’s activities.
This popular community event, sponsored by The Daisy Association, is run by volunteers and funded by donations received from local businesses, including the Hilton East Brunswick; Plumrose USA; L’Affaire II Bake Shop; Lamo Builders Inc.; Austin Kosik Jr. Associates; Howard Teitelbaum, Esq.; Local PBA 145; the East Brunswick Youth Council; and several other local businesses and organizations.
Proceeds will benefit persons with special needs who participate in the Daisy Recreation Program. Designed to promote the concept of “education through recreation” for the challenged population, the Daisy Recreation Program is sponsored by the East Brunswick Township Division of Recreation and Community Services and The Daisy Association.
