MILLSTONE — A three-car crash early Sunday afternoon had four injured persons sent to area hospitals, according to the Millstone Township Fire Company.
The fire company was dispatched to Perrineville Road and North Rochdale Avenue at 12:48 p.m. April 22 for the accident.
The three cars involved held six occupants, two of whom declined medical assistance.
The most seriously injured person was transported by the first arriving ambulance to Jersey Shore Trauma Center in Neptune.
Emergency responders transported the three other individuals to CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township.
The New Jersey State Police assisted with routing traffic around the crash.
Afluid spill stemming from the accident was contained by firefighters on the scene, according to the fire company.
Along with the Millstone Township Fire Company, Millstone, Monroe and Roosevelt emergency medical services responded to the scene. MONOC was also on hand.
