Mr. Adams, 88, of Jackson, formerly of Lakewood, died April 17, 2012, at home. Prior to retiring, he was employed as an aircraft mechanic at Lakehurst Fort Dix Naval Air Station in Lakehurst for over 30 years. After retirement, he was a school transport driver for five years. Mr. Adams served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Adams; and a daughter, JoAnne Adams. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anna Marie Adams; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and Gregory Miick of Lakewood, and Leslie and Billy Bartolf of Jackson; a son, Edward J. Adams of Jackson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
