NYC CONCERT PROMOTERS GOTHAM ROCKS ANNOUNCES FIRST EVER SHOWCASE TOUR
Rock showcase searches outside NYC for the best unsigned bands across ten states for first ever Showcase Tour 2012
New York — Gotham Rocks, known for finding, fostering, and promoting the best upcoming and independent rock talent in New York City and the Northeast, is gearing up to launch its first ever Showcase Tour 2012 this Friday. The tour will span 10 states: New York , Connecticut , Massachusetts , Rhode Island , New Hampshire , New Jersey , Pennsylvania , Ohio , Indiana and Michigan . The first leg of the tour will feature the explosive EYE EMPIRE, joined by Gotham Rocks veterans GHOSTS OF EDEN and CHARETTA, with the second leg featuring NYC rock giants THE AUGUST INFINITY and SCARLET CARSON.
Gotham Rocks has exposed hundreds of independent rock acts to industry and fans alike over the past four years, and is continuing to change the face of the music scene by taking its showcase on the road. Gotham Rocks has reviewed submissions from thousands of bands to play select shows on the June 2012 Gotham Rocks Showcase Tour. These shows will act as an audition for select bands to play a Gotham Rocks show before NYC industry and concert goers this summer, awarding instrument endorsements from Spector Basses and DR Strings, features on Reverbnation.com and Gothamrocks.net, and marketing prizes from Musicsubmit.com.
The Gotham Rocks Showcase June 2012 Tour will be at Milly’s Tavern in Manchester, NH on Sunday, June 3rd. This show will feature self-proclaimed Velvet Grunge rockers GHOSTS OF EDEN and female-fronted powerhouse CHARETTA, both of which have headlined sold out shows in NYC and are eager to take on the rest of the nation.

Gotham Rock’s first ever tour comes on the heels of an already groundbreaking 2012 concert season, having sold out New York City’s Gramercy Theatre in March, headlined by GHOSTS OF EDEN. 2011’s successes were no less, selling out Irving Plaza in July with exclusively unsigned, local rock acts, and staging national chart-toppers Fuel at Mulcahy’s in Wantagh , NY and Ozzy Osbourne’s lead guitarist Gus G’s band Firewind at the Gramercy Theater in October.
