Mrs. Conover-McDonald, 68, of Freehold, formerly of Manalapan, died May 26, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, after a long illness. She was employed as a certified nursing assistant by the Freehold Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and the John L. Montgomery Care Center, Freehold. Mrs. Conover-McDonald was predeceased by two husbands, James E. Conover Sr. and Nathaniel O. McDonald Jr.; a sister, Annie L. Green; a brother, George Sims Sr.; a son, Leonard Conover; and a daughter, Dawn E. Conover. Surviving are three sisters, Everniece Cooper- Carlisle of Lakewood, Lerina Eubanks of Manchester and Lenora Gilliard of Lakewood; three sons, Louis Conover of Newark, James Conover Jr. of West Orange, and Nathaniel Mc- Donald Jr. of Freehold; two daughters, Marian Conover-Burke and Marlena Conover of Freehold; and a stepdaughter, Nia Wright-Berry of Wilmington, Del. Services were held at New Hope Baptist Church, Freehold, followed by interment in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. Arrangements were by the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
