Mr. Ottinger, 75, a resident of Hazlet for 11 years, died May 30, 2012, at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. He worked as a travel agent for Fugazy Travel and V.T.S. Travel, both in New York City. Mr. Ottinger was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of the Holy Name Society. He was named Man of the Year in 2011. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Martha (nee Morrison) Ottinger of Hazlet; three sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Marie Ottinger of Oak Ridge, Edward and Monica Ottinger of Manasquan and Michael and Emily Ottinger of Middletown; a daughter and son-in-law, Martha Ann and Peter Rose of Hazlet; six grandchildren; a brother, Edward Ottinger of Seaford, N.Y.; a sister, Kathleen Brooks of Lincroft; and thirteen nieces and nephews. Afuneral liturgy was offered at Holy Family Church, Union Beach. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
