The Hillsborough Democratic Organization has announced plans for an event called “Hit a Home Run for Democrats!” to be held at the Somerset Patriots Stadium on Friday, August 24. The event will include an All-You-Can-Eat Barbecue Buffet in the Ballpark Picnic Area from 6:00PM to 7:30PM, followed by a baseball game versus the York Revolution. The Game sponsor is the Somerset County Education Association and the first 1500 kids will receive Back to School folders.
The Barbecue Buffet will include BBQ Chicken, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Potato Chips, Cookies, Soda and Water. Tickets are $35 each and will include admission to the game as well as the buffet. Reservation forms should be returned with a check payable to Committee to Elect Hillsborough Democrats by July 15.
“This is intended to be a family style event,” says Michael Goldberg, Chairman of the Hillsborough Democratic Organization. “Everyone is welcome to come and join us on August 24.”
