Mr. Prendergast, 51, of Brick Township, formerly of Jackson, died June 30, 2012, at home. He was employed by the Trenton Housing Authority. Mr. Prendergast served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Stella Prendergast; a son, William Prendergast, and daughter-in-law, Danielle; and three sisters, Linda, Cindy and Mary. A funeral service was held at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson, followed by a private cremation.
