Annual school-supply drive set to begin

PLUMSTED — The New Egypt MOMS Club will hold a school supply drive for children in the community who cannot afford to purchase school supplies.

Items needed for the “Pack the Sack” service project include backpacks, pencils, pencil boxes, pens, crayons, dry-erase markers, mini staplers, loose-leaf paper, tape, colored pencils, 1-inch and 3-inch three-ring binders, highlighters, self-stick notes, index cards, glue sticks, spiral notebooks, pocket folders, TI34 calculators, flash drives, erasers, 100-page composition notebooks, tissues, marking pens and dictionaries.

The donation drop-off locations will be at the Plumsted Library on Evergreen Road and the New Egypt post office on Main Street. Items will be collected through Aug. 24. For information, call 732-414-1764.
