Felix O. Chiarelli

Mr. Chiarelli, 85, of Jackson, died July 1, 2012. He was employed by the Coca-Cola Co. in Kearney and the Continental Can Co., and was also a special police officer and a dispatcher for Jackson, retiring after 41 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a hospital apprentice first class. He was predeceased by two brothers, Benjamin and Eugene. Surviving are his wife, Margaret (Dempsey) Chiarelli; two sons, Marc Chiarelli of Jackson and Wayne and his wife, Pamela, of Gettysburg, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Carole Chiarelli of Barnegat; and three granddaughters. A funeral service was held at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson, followed by entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. Memorial donations may be made to Smile Train, P.O.
