Mrs. Salvest, 89, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 16, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Salvest was predeceased by her husband, Gadamis Salvest, in 1988; and six siblings, Mary, Albert, Dorothy, Michael, Helen and John. Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Harrington, and her husband, Thomas, of Howell; two granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, George Semyon of Pittston, Pa., and Joseph Semyon of Wilkes-Barre, Pa; and a sister, Margie Zielinski of Pittston, Pa. Private funeral services were held under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
