POLICE BLOTTER: Week of Aug. 24

East Windsor
   Michael Deluca, 27, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana under 50 grams at 3:10 p.m. Aug. 12 after being stopped on Route 130.
   Patrolman Joseph Carabelli received a report of a 2006 Chevrolet traveling on Route 130 South in an aggressive and erratic manner, police said. He stopped the vehicle on Route 130 near Hankins Road.
   Police said Mr. Deluca’s driver’s license was suspended. The officer smelled the odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle, police said.
   It also was learned Mr. Deluca had a warrant from Trenton. He also was in possession of a bag containing 20 methadone pills, another bag containing prescription narcotics for which he had no prescription, a marijuana pipe containing marijuana and a bag of suspected cocaine, police said.
   He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a prescription narcotic; driving while suspended and having drugs in a motor vehicle.
   He was released without bail.
   Christopher Lobianco, 23, of Hankins Road, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams after being stopped on Route 130 at 12:09 a.m. Aug. 16.
   Patrolman Robert Davison saw a 2006 Ford make an illegal U-turn on Route 130 and continue to drive erratically on Route 130 south, police said.
   He stopped the vehicle as it turned on Hankins Road. He smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, police said, and found a bag of marijuana
   He also was charged with making an improper U-turn, failing to maintain l and having drugs in a motor vehicle.
   Someone reported that tools, worth about $115 as well as two bottles containing his prescription narcotics, were stolen from his work van that had been left unlocked Lake Drive.
   It happened sometime between 11 and 11:25 p.m. Friday.
   Someone damaged a window of a residence on Brooktree Road sometime between 11 p.m. Aug. 16 and 8 a.m. Friday.
   The damage is estimated at $150.
   Samir Patel, 33, of Winchester Drive, was charged with possession of heroin and disorderly conduct after being found lying on Westfield Avenue, apparently asleep, at 12:20 a.m. Sunday.
   Police said that, after being awakened, Mr. Patel stood up and lunged at officers and began yelling obscenities.
   After being arrested, police found a bag containing suspected heroin on him. He was released without bail.
   The arresting officer was Detective Ryan Mattek.
Hightstown
   Friday at 12:15 p.m. on South Main Street, officers responded to a report of a possible drunk driver operating a motor vehicle in an erratic manner.
   Police stopped the vehicle and charged the driver, Heriberto Veyto-Carpintero, 30, of Old York Road, East Windsor, with drunken driving, drunken driving in a school zone, being an unlicensed driver, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
   Police said Mr. Veyto-Carpintero had a blood alcohol content of 0.24 percent.
   Monday at 7:51 p.m. on Morrison Avenue, police charged Kevin Sainsbury, 36, of Deerfield Apartments, Hightstown, with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
   Also arrested was Karriem Boone, 36, male of Probasco Road, East Windsor, who also was charged with providing false information to a law enforcement officer, driving while suspended and failure to inspect.
   Police stopped the vehicle for an expired inspection sticker. The driver provided a false name and later was found to have a suspended license, police said.
   During the stop, police were about to use a K-9 unit when the passenger, Mr. Sainsbury, surrendered two baggies of marijuana of an unspecified weight.
   Both men were released without bail.
