Mr. Osvold, 79, of Freehold, formerly of Middletown, died Sept. 1, 2012. He was born in Norway and was a U.S. Army veteran. Prior to retiring, Mr. Osvold was employed as a carpenter in New York City. He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude, in 2009. He is survived by two children, Elizabeth Scibor of Freehold and Paul Osvold of Millersburg, Pa.; and three grandchildren. Interment was private.
