Mr. Nekrasz, 71, of Howell, died Sept. 20, 2012. He was born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and had lived in Irvington before settling in Howell in 1981. Prior to retiring in 2004, he was a systems engineer for Blonder-Tongue, Old Bridge, for 42 years. Mr. Nekrasz was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan. Surviving are two sons, Christopher Nekrasz and his wife, Denise, of Howell, and Jeffrey Nekrasz of Philadelphia, Pa.; two grandsons; a sister, Nancy VasKorlis of Washington Township; an aunt, Lillian Reese, and her husband, Joseph, of Lady Lake, Fla.; and a niece. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & Mc- Girr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover.
