Mr. Pitts, 65, of Jackson, formerly of Freehold, died Oct. 18, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was employed as the director of engineering for the past 10 years at Main Steel, Tinton Falls. Prior to that, he worked for Main Tape for 14 years. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Jody Pitts; two sons, Paul Pitts Jr. of Oregon, and Bill Pitts and his wife, Christy, of Oregon; a sister, Linda Pitts Woodman of Flemington; and three grandchildren. A celebration of Mr. Pitts’ life was held at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
