 Donations for Hurricane Sandy Shelters
A donation drive is underway at the Bordentown Elks, 2085, lodge, 11 Amboy Avenue, Bordentown, to help the victims of hurricane Sandy. Three shelters, Tom’s River, Manahawkin and Little Egg Harbor are in desperate need of the following supplies: gently used clothing, coats for men, women and children, toiletries such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, hand sanitizer, hand creams, baby items, foods, wipes, diapers, formula, bottles, etc.
Also needed are cleaning supplies, toilet paper and paper towels. Over the counter meds such as advil, Tylenol and childrens over the counter meds are needed as well as pet supplies. Shelf kept food supplies would be greatly appreciated.
Those wishing to drop off donations can do so any time through Saturday night, November 10th, in the vestibule in back of the lodge. If you have questions please call Sharon at 609-947-4559
