Pennington Parks and
Recreation Commission
Nov. 11 is Veteran’s Day. This day is set aside to remember not only those who died in service to our country, but also to recognize those who continue to serve today.
The Pennington Parks and Recreation Commission offers a unique program, called Adopt a Flag, whereby you can purchase a flag to honor someone past or present who has served our country or our community. These flags adorn the downtown streets of Pennington from May through October and acknowledge veterans, loved ones, dedicated volunteers and employees in the Valley and surrounding areas.
Please consider making a donation to the Adopt a Flag program this Veteran’s Day or at any other time during the year. Forms are available at Pennington Borough Hall or on our website at www.penningtonboro.org/Adopt_a_Flag.pdf.
We would like to thank the following people who have purchased a flag this year: Shannon and Dave Cirullo, the Clingman Family, Bob and Mary Anne Heino, Michelle and Scott Needham, Pennington Parks and Recreation, the Rice Family and the Tunkel Family.
