Winter-coat collection continues in S.R.

The South River Board of Health, along with Alternative Integrated Medical Services (AIMS Clinic) and Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School, School of Career Development, both East Brunswick, have joined forces to sponsor a winter-coat drive to benefit those less fortunate.

New or like-new winter coats may continue to be dropped off through Nov. 8 at the following locations: Alternative Integrated Medical Services, 150-A Tices Lane, East Brunswick, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 9 a.m. to noon Thursdays and Saturdays; the South River Administration Building, 48 Washington St., 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and the South River Human Services Building, 55 Reid St., 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Coats will be dry-cleaned, compliments of Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School, School of Career Development, East Brunswick. Distribution is scheduled for 1-4 p.m. Dec. 1 in the Human Services Building, South River.
