New Egypt hires Frable to coach wrestling team

The Plumsted Township School District Board of Education has named Jason Frable as New Egypt High School’s new head wrestling coach to replace Kevin English, who stepped down last summer.

Frable, a guidance counselor at New Egypt, presently coaches track and field, and he has served as an assistant coach with the wrestling team since 2007.

Frable is a former West Virginia University wrestler. He has coached on the college level and as a high school wrestling coach at Eastern, Kingsway, and Southern Regional before coming to New Egypt. “Jason Frable has been an integral part of the New Egypt High School wrestling team for the past several years. He is well liked and respected by our wrestling community and I look forward to him leading our program”, said New Egypt athletic director Rich Carroll in a school press release. “Jason is a tireless worker who will ensure the success that the program has enjoyed in the past.”

“Since starting at New Egypt five years ago, it has been an amazing process to watch certain individuals and this program flourish,” Frable said. “It’s an honor to have this opportunity.”
