Eatontown Baseball League (EBL) will be holding player registration for the 2013 season on Nov. 17 at the Eatontown Senior (Community Center) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The location is 72 Broad St.
The cost of registration is $25 per player for 4-year-olds*, $55 per player for ages 5-12, and $65 per player for ages 13-16, with a maximum registration per family of $100. In addition, each family is responsible for a raffle fundraiser fee of $50 and a refundable performance bond of $75 — if paid by Nov. 17 ($100 thereafter).
Registration forms for 2013 are also available on the EBL website at www.eatontownbaseball.com (click on the “Handouts” tab on the left side of the webpage) and at the Community Center on the registration dates above.
* The Bam Bam Baseball Clinic is open to 4-year-olds.
* No bond or raffle fee will be charged for 4-year-olds unless registered with older siblings.
Rutgers University is selling shirts to raise funds for victims of superstorm Sandy, which recently devastated many parts of New Jersey. The shirts are $15 and can be purchased at Rutgers football and basketball games, as well as through the Scarlet Fever retail store on Somerset Street in New Brunswick.

The NJ Marlins travel baseball organization will once again be running its annual Winter Work Out Program. The program will run for eight weeks on Sundays from Jan. 6 through Feb. 24 at Frozen Ropes in Lakewood.
Players ages 8-14 will train from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and ages 15-18 will train from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Attending the NJ Marlins Winter Work Outs helps young players prepare for the 2013 season. Last season, 13 players from the 17U team committed to play baseball in college.
The Marlins’ program features a 7:1 player to coach ratio and instruction in hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching and position play.

Burlington County College is hosting a six-week Baseball Camp starting on Jan. 6, 2013.
Burlington head coach Scott Knazek will direct the program in conjunction with U.S. Baseball Academy. Classes are available for players in grades 1-12 and are limited to six players per coach.
Sessions are offered in advanced hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and base running at a cost as low as $99 for six weeks.
