 Allentown Art Guild will host its annual holiday show and sale at 55 N. Main St., Allentown, from noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 1- 2. Oil and watercolor paintings, mixed media drawings, and greeting cards will be available for purchase. Free admission. Parking available on Main Street. Details: 609-259-3500.

 Create a stocking made out of simple paper and yarn from 1-3 p.m. Dec. 2 at Historic Walnford, Upper Freehold. The stocking will hold a few traditional treats to take home. Details: 732-842-4000.

 The Allentown High School Band will host a Sip Some Soup Dinner from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 6 at Allentown High School, 27 High St., Allentown. The fundraiser includes gourmet soups prepared by area chefs and local restaurants, fresh breads, hot dogs, desserts, soda and coffee. Fee for the dinner is $5 for children, $10 for adults and $30 for a family of four. This year, take-out soup will be sold for $5. A portion of the event’s proceeds will go to the Allentown Food Pantry and to the Allentown Redbird Band. Following the dinner, the Allentown High School symphonic band will perform its winter concert at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend the evening’s activities.

 The Millstone Township Performing Arts Center will present the show “Gift Wrapped – A Holiday Musical Revue” on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, Dawson Court, Millstone. The show features professional and local talent in musical selections from people’s favorite holiday shows. The show will include songs such as “White Christmas,” “Santa Baby,” “Hanukkah Oh Hanukkah” and “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” among many other favorites. All seats are reserved and tickets are $20, with front row orchestra seats at $30.  The Allentown Library, 16 S. Main St., Allentown, will host a performance of the “Nutcracker” at 4 p.m. Dec. 6 by the Performing Arts Ensemble Studio of Red Bank. Details: 609-259-7565.

• A living Nativity will be presented at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 by Christian Friends Forever, the special needs Bible group, at the Jackson United Methodist Church, 66 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. The evening will begin with the serving of various soups and bread and at 6 p.m. All are welcome to attend and are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the Jackson Food Pantry.  An auction sponsored by the Sisterhood of the Congregation Anshei Roosevelt, will be held Dec. 1 at the Roosevelt Synagogue, 20 Homestead Lane, Roosevelt. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the auction will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $10 per person, or $12 at the door. Coffee, tea and pastries are included.
